Offense

When you start a freshman QB, you put yourself in a tough position.  Les Miles has his choice between a redshirt and a true freshman as signal caller.  Either one, when playing, will make some great plays and then blow a few.  They have some guys back on the line, but nothing else.

Defense

I really don’t see this side being a dominant one at all. And there going to have to be without a QB on offense.  They are considered solid at best.  A bunch of guys who can make a play here and there, but nothing else.

Versus the Huskers: N/A

Final Analysis:  Coach Callahan spoke early this year about recruiting the big three.  A big-time QB, RB, and WR.  Well OSU lost their big three last year and will struggle this year because of it.  They have to go to UCLA, Mizzou, Texas and Tech. It doesn’t get better at home against Oklahoma and a resurgent Tulsa program.  I know I’m repeating myself, but the only way OSU will do better than 5-6/6-5 is if one of their young guns is special.  If not, they’ll be bowling at Stillwater Lanes hittin’ on 18 year old fatties come January.
