Offense

Plain and simple it’s a crap shoot.  The offense appears to be coming together, but there are huge questions on the line.  The best in the league, Incognito simple can’t keep his mouth and emotions in check, on and off the field.  Greg Austin, I think will step up, but with the intricacies of the WC system the line will struggle at times.

Defense

Rock solid and looking to improve on a successful ’03 campaign.  Ruud leads one of the besting the country.  There only true loss was Demario.  They have to be on every game in order for the Huskers to win. The secondary features lock down corner Fabian Washington and ball hawk Josh Bullocks, both only juniors.

Final Analysis:  With a very strong junior class look for the Huskers to be well versed and condition under the new staff next year.  This year the Huskers are a strong candidate for the Big 12 North title.  Loses against OU (twice) and one other Big 12 team (not Mizzou or Kansas State) is probably.  Schedule is favorable to ease the offense a bit, but of course the Big 12 is tough so once they hit the meat of the year, they’ll need to turn it on.
