Offense

New Quarterbacks mean new troubles.  Here’s a guy who has limited exposure to the college game.  And the time he did have behind Ell was spent losing to Marshall at home.  Darren Sproles is tight.  When of the best backs around, but with a rebuilt line, young QB, and one playmaker out wide, this purple nightmare is in trouble.

Defense

You’d like to say the defense will carry the team, but you might be stepping over your boundaries.  It’s difficult to say.  You wonder if K. State is at that “reload” stage yet.  They return four from a good defense.  But one of the problems I always thought State has always had was there team is littered with juco’s as is this defense.  What if they don’t mesh this year?  

 

Versus the Huskers:  I friggin hate this team more than the devil himself.  The adrenaline is all ready flowing through me like beer at a West Virginia University frat kegger.  We go into Manhattan where poultry 45,000 fans will meet us.  No wait 35,000 because we’ll buy their sad purple fans out with some green.  We’ll make it a game a win one in OT.   

 

Final Analysis:  This team sucks.  Sucks bigger than a John Holmes.  They suck at QB, they suck at DB, they suck at LB and to make matters worth Snyder takes it in the ass.  They’ll take it hard in four Big 12 games this year.  The only reason I’m even ranking them above Kansas and Iowa St. is because those teams are that bad.
