Offense

There’s a need to replace some lineman, but when you have a guy like Reggie McNeal running the show that’s got to count for a couple wins. If he had a better cast around him he’d be a solid candidate for all-Big 12.  He along w/ starting HB Courtney Lewis wins a few games themselves.

Defense

I don’t know maybe they need a 13th, 14th, or 15th man to help them out.  Obviously the D has been off for a couple years.  They should be solid this year with 6 returning starters and a handful of juco recruits. They have some nice experience retuning because Franchione was forced to play a couple true freshman and walk-ons. No A&M defender is tougher though or more willing to sacrifice his body than safety Jaxson Appel. The gutsy, hard-hitting Appel led the Aggies with 135 tackles and gives A&M the cornerstone of a secondary that should be improved.

Versus the Huskers: N/A

Final Analysis:  Texas A&M over Kansas St….mark it down.  They will catch Kansas St. early molding a new QB and take them in Kyle Field.  They will need to assemble a come together quickly as a team, and they will and surprise some teams.  But their schedule is no cakewalk; A&M must face bowl participants Utah, Clemson, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Texas.  So their going to get piss pounded some games.
